Capsule Collection
Yesterday I received a mail anouncing the launch of a new website called Capsulecollections.co.za that sells several international luxury brands and by luxury brands I mean the likes of Alexander McQueen, Alberta Ferretti adn Giuseppe Zanotti! This was a bit of a squeal moment for me because truth be told I had spent the better part of the morning pouring over images for tomorrow’s post which is going to showcase some of my “shoe picks” from Vogue and Europe seems an extrodinarily long way from SA and from these beautiful pieces of craftsmanship…
The website offers a McQueen collection of scarves, ties and daring footwear and were part of the last collections designed by the British designer known for his dramatic signature and so they will no doubt be cherished investment pieces. Giuseppe Zanotti has proferred party slippers for the likes of Kylie Minogue, Beyonce and Blake Lively and Alberta Ferretti is well the “Queen of Femininity”.
The intention is to offer a carefully curated selection of pieces and reflects a commitment to carry only the best international premier brands in the country. It has been conceptualised by local model turned entrepreneur Adhiambo Mula-Lauwers who has formed close relationships with authorised dealers and manufacturers which ensures the buyers of the genuine article and quality of all the products. Adhiambo believes “any investment shopper will find a myriad of season-less key pieces to enhance their capsule wardrobe through our range of designer shoes, bags and jewellery,” .
The website embodies chic shopping at the click of a mouse and there is door-to-door delivery and invitation-only trunk show days throughout the year.
